My friend, Ashley, and I made this cake together for her co-worker's nephew, Reed. We envisioned a bubbly airplane for the little one- year- old boy, but it took us awhile to complete the cake that we were finally happy with. We did this cake so long ago, that I can barely remember the flavor of the cake (my family and friends understand my forgetful mind), but I'm pretty sure we did all yellow batter.
